POSTAL 4 No Regerts is a black comedy first-person shooter video game. The game is the third game in the series, after the first two, POSTAL and POSTAL 2. The game is a sequel to POSTAL 2. The game is meant to be a living world. It is a simulation of a tongue in cheek off Kilter Town. The characters in the game live out their life completely separated from the actions of dude, walking around town, buying and selling, and engaging in random shootouts with each other and with police. The town features many cars but they are useless exploding props and cannot be driven.
However, they can be blown up and sent flying into the air. In addition to cats and dogs, the other animals in the game are elephants. They can be shot out and set on fire. In POSTAL 4 No Regerts, you can pick up cats as an inventory item. In using the cats, POSTAL Dude, shoves the barrel of a currently equipped firearm into cat’s auns as a silencer. Every time a shot is fired, a cat will meows. Dogs have the ability to befriend dude if you feed them a continual supply of biscuits or feed them any other food. Once a dog’s loyalty is earned, the dog will attack anyone who will attack you.
Dogs will also chase and attack cats and play fetch with the inventory and severed heads. POSTAL 4 No Regerts also features a cameo by Gary Coleman, acting as himself who appears early as an objective of the game. You can simply choose to fight and kill or simply have the book signed.
